Accuracy of Information
Government offices may revise addresses, telephone numbers, hours, charges, and procedures with little notice. Their record systems also change as new entries and dispositions arrive. Although the content is reviewed, no promise is made that every detail remains complete or current. Confirm instructions and costs with the Franklin County or Washington office before traveling or paying.
An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
An arrest does not establish guilt. A prosecutor may decline, reduce, or change charges, a court may dismiss a count, and a case may end in the defendant's favor. A booking record does not show the final outcome. Later correction, sealing, or a Washington vacation of conviction can also make an old copy misleading. Verify the current disposition with the issuing court, Franklin County Sheriff's Office, or Washington State Patrol before reaching a conclusion.
