Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a service designed for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to identify official criminal-record resources in Franklin County, Washington. It is neither a private investigation business nor a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is a privately run reference resource, independent from every government office. It does not keep official criminal records, obtain records on a visitor's behalf, conduct an official background check, or submit legal documents.
Its information directs visitors to Franklin County record custodians, the courts, the Washington State Patrol and WATCH, the Washington State Sex Offender Public Registry, Washington DOC, and outside tools that may assist lawful personal research.
2. Rules for Using This Site
As a condition of use, you must not:

- Use information to stalk, intimidate, threaten, or harass a person

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
No person may use site information or a linked tool to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against another person. Such conduct may be criminal. Washington law limits misuse of Washington State Sex Offender Public Registry information, including conduct directed at a registrant or household. Registry publication supports public-safety awareness. It does not authorize vigilantism, blacklisting, or discrimination.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Franklin County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It creates no background check, credit report, or other consumer report. Its advertising partners likewise do not offer site services intended to evaluate applicants, rental requests, insurance risk, or credit. You may not use information from the site or a linked tool to:
- Make an employment decision
- Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
- Assess credit or determine an insurance premium
- Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
- Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose
When a lawful purpose requires such screening, use the proper official process through the Washington State Patrol or a provider that complies with the FCRA.
5. No Legal Advice
Site content is not legal advice. General explanations of Franklin County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, sealing issue, or vacation of conviction applies to one person. Obtain advice from a licensed Washington attorney.
6. No Warranties
All content and functions are offered "as is." No warranty is made that:

Criminal records can change when charges are filed or dismissed, a court seals material, or a Washington court grants a vacation of conviction. Updates may not appear at once. Text, graphics, logos, and code are owned by Franklin County Criminal History or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, adapted, distributed, or used to create another work without prior written permission.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for loss or damage arising from use of the site, including reliance on information obtained here or through a linked service.
10. Indemnification

11. Governing Law
Washington law governs these terms. A dispute related to site use must be brought in a court located in Washington. Public access to agency records remains governed by the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW; criminal-history dissemination by chapter 10.97 RCW; and court-file access by GR 31.

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page.
13. Cutting Off Access
Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.
14. Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be limited only as needed to make it enforceable.
